Welcome to the Gable Reunion website! This site is dedicated to all descendants of Solomon and Elizabeth (Pe[a]rson) Gable. Each year on the first Sunday in August, those descending from Solomon and Elizabeth gather at the Schlicher family farm in Corning, Pennsylvania and celebrate the over 450 people and seven generations this line represents. Keys to the Reunion are the potluck meal under the canopy at 12:30 PM, the business meeting under the Horse Chestnut tree, games, a hayride and hand dipped ice cream (black cherry/vanilla, fudge ripple, and chocolate marshmallow) upon the return of the tractors pulling the wagons.

You will also find a family tree and biographical data on the members of the family, past and present, and some other items that will interest family members and genealogists alike. Feel free to contact us with items you wish to contribute to the website -- it's a family affair!
